MOHIT KHETRAPAL
Mohit Khetrapal is a documentary photographer based in Varanasi, India. He has spent the past decade photographing the city he grew up in, drawn to its contradictions and the layered ways in which life unfolds within it and, increasingly, the communities, rituals, and everyday lives he encounters across India. His background in design and research informs how he works, helping him read behaviour, cultural nuance, space, and aesthetics in ways that shape his long-term projects. He is drawn to long-form work: returning to people and places over time, and to stories of how communities live, adapt, and endure.
